It is with a heavy heart that we remember the soul of God's servant, His Grace Bishop Timothy of Hexamilion, who served the Holy Metropolis of Chicago faithfully and well for over four decades, most especially, as its Chancellor, from 2019 through March of 2025.

This year, the Orthodox Youth Mission Team (OYMT), spent a week serving with the Appalachia Service Project in Harlan County, Kentucky. This 60-person team consisted of youth and adult leaders from five jurisdictions and 11 parishes across Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Vermont, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and New Mexico. This mission offered a unique opportunity for Orthodox high school youth to come together, and serve Christ through a meaningful and authentic mission experience. During their travels, they were blessed to once again visit Christ the Savior Greek Orthodox Church in Bluff City, TN (GOARCH).
