December 11, 2023Revered Father Kyriakos Hambos, efimerios of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of the Greater Orlando, assisted by his Presbytera, Eleutheria, organized the Goya Advent Retreat of the N.E. Conference of Florida for the weekend of 8th- 10th of December.
Their efforts were supported by Reverend Father Sebastian from Saint John Greek Orthodox Church in Jacksonville, Father Joseph of Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Daytona Beach, and a team of dedicated volunteers, chaperons, and parents.
About 50 excited Goyans attended this weekend retreat. whose main theme was the story of Christmas, its applications in our lives , purposeful games, activities, puzzles, and icebreakers.
The retreat was an energizing weekend for all attendees, GOYAns as well as adults. Everyone left with the hope of meeting again and continuing to strengthen their bonds.
