For this Fall's Parish Council Elections, I kindly ask our Clergy and Boards of Elections to read and download the forms compiled at this highlighted link before your elections as well as using to submit your Parish Council Election results for ratification for those to be elected to serve in 2025. The link provides a PDFwith ALL the documents and guidelines you will need, including the updated 2025 Uniform Parish Regulations related to PC elections.



Paper copies of these resources will not be mailed to parishes. Instead, Clergy and Boards of Elections may print out these forms to use in submitting them to my office for review and ratification by His Eminence Metropolitan Sevastianos BEFORE the 2026 Oath of Office can be administered.

Additionally, let me take this opportunity to remind all current and future Parish Council Members are required to pass the background check required of all Clergy, Youth Workers & Volunteers. Therefore, please click the link here, to begin the process of your background check. If you begin now with your background checks for current members who return in 2026, you will only have to perform the background checks on candidates nominated for your Fall elections. Delays arise when this step is omitted. All candidates must be background checked BEFORE your election. This year, all background check confirmations for new and returning PC members (including your Clergy) must be received as part of the ratification paperwork submitted. This will speed up our ratification and we thank you.
