As we approach that midpoint of  Great Lent, we are blessed that nine months before the Feast of the Nativity, the events of March 25th give us spiritual refreshment during this holy period.

Saint Porphyrios was organized and named under the omophorion of His Eminence Metropolitan Alexios, and guided under the direction of His Grace Bishop Sevastianos of Zela beginning in to give us direction in November 2020.

The Metropolis is mindful of questions surrounding the changing mask mandates throughout the country, especially as we prepare for the services of Great and Holy Lent.

Today His Eminence Metropolitan Alexios was at the Metropolis Office working with His Grace Bishop Sevastianos, the Chancellor and His staff.

The organizing committee of the Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Daytona Beach, Florida was very pleased with the results of its 2022 Annual Pilgrimage to the Diakonia Retreat Center in Salem, SC.
