ATLANTA (July 27, 2017) — Yesterday in Greece, one of our Metropolis' own was ordained into the priesthood as Fr. Constantine Carras. Fr. Constantine, formerlly John Carras, resides in Winston-Salem. A graduate of Holy Cross, he served his parish community as a parishioner for many years, volunteering in a number of ministries including at St. Stephen's Summer Camp. A few weeks ago, he was ordained into the Diaconate at Annunciation Church in Winston-Salem by His Eminence Metropolitan Alexios. This week, at a monastery in Greece, he was tonsured a monk then ordained into the Priesthood.
