A Message from National Philoptochos President Debbie George
Pascha 2026
“Blessed be the God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” - 1 Peter 1:3
Beloved National Philoptochos Board Members, Metropolis Philoptochos Board Members, the Members of the Chapter Boards, and Stewards of Our Philoptochos Society,
As we journey through Holy Week, we are drawn ever closer to the radiant and life-giving Resurrection of our Lord. In this sacred season, we are reminded that Christ’s perfect and eternal sacrifice has conquered sin and death once and for all, opening for us the path to salvation and everlasting hope.
With hearts full of anticipation, we prepare to receive the light of His Resurrection, a light that calls us to renewal, to steadfast faith, and to a deeper trust in His divine love. In Him, we find not only redemption, but the strength and purpose of living as witnesses to His truth in the world.
As we rejoice in the Resurrection, let us also renew our commitment to the mission entrusted to us. Grounded in His boundless love, we are called to serve with compassion, to uplift those in need, and to reflect His light in every act of kindness and mercy. Through our shared ministry in Philoptochos, we become living expressions of His love, bringing hope and healing to our communities.
It is both a profound honor and a true blessing to serve alongside each of you, women of faith whose dedication and devotion continue to embody the spirit of Christ’s Resurrection in action.
On behalf of the Executive Board and our devoted staff, I extend my heartfelt prayers and warmest wishes to you and your loved ones for a blessed Kali Anastasi and Kalo Pascha!
